MICHAEL A. GLASSER
Michael is a member of the law firm of Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., based in Norfolk, Virginia, where his practice emphasizes creditors’ rights, real estate, commercial litigation and arbitration. A graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Richmond Law School, Mr. Glasser has practiced continuously since 1978 with his firm, which was established in 1932. He is also a principal of Crown Center Associates, L.L.C., and the developer of the award winning Crown Center building in downtown Norfolk, which houses the Glasser and Glasser law firm as well as other legal and banking businesses. Mr. Glasser has served the bar in a variety of leadership roles, including President of the Virginia State Bar in 2001-2002 and as a member of the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates (2000-2006 and 2009-2013, 2015-2020). In addition to an active law practice, Mr. Glasser serves in a variety of law related appointed positions: Special Counsel to the Attorney General of Virginia for claims and collections; and member of the commercial arbitration panel of Neutrals for the American Arbitration Association.
