Mollie Conkey Fullington has more than 20 years of experience advising and communicating on behalf of clients in the public and private sectors. Over the course of her career, Ms. Fullington has held high-profile, media-facing positions in state and federal government, worked in a boutique public relations firm in midtown Manhattan, served as a spokesperson on political campaigns, in corporate communications for entertainment giant Viacom, Inc., and in a producing role for ABC News. She now focuses her work on strategic and crisis communications as the founder of Mulberry Street Strategies, LLC.

Ms. Fullington was working as then-New York Governor George E. Pataki’s New York City Press Secretary during the attacks of September 11, 2001. In this capacity and working with a large team, Ms. Fullington was responsible for Governor Pataki’s media presence and public events in New York City and oversaw the press operations for approximately 20 New York State agencies. She later served as the Director of Public Information for the New York State Division of Criminal Justice, and in this role, spearheaded press strategy that culminated in the passage of several high-profile and hard-fought legislative successes for Governor Pataki.
 
Ms. Fullington also served as an Executive Vice President at midtown New York public relations boutique LAK Public Relations, during which time she advised clients ranging from publicly traded companies to not-for-profit organizations on strategy and crisis communications as well as staging events and generating significant media coverage.

Ms. Fullington has worked on Capitol Hill as a congressional press secretary, on several high-profile political campaigns, and in other communications capacities in New York State government. She also worked in Viacom Inc.’s corporate relations department as the staff writer and as a junior analyst in the investor relations area. Ms. Fullington began her career at ABC News’s London Bureau. She is a graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
