On October 6th the premier insurance rating agency, AM Best, announced its upgrade of ALPS Property & Casualty Insurance Company’s Financial Strength Rating from an A- to an A.
With a well-diversified geographic footprint, a continued investment in technology to reduce friction in the customer application and purchasing processes and a strong balance sheet, ALPS is in a solid position among carriers in its space.
“When the de facto regulator of insurer solvency (AM Best) moves a carrier from A- to A, it’s a pretty big deal,” remarked ALPS CEO David Bell.
For ALPS policyholders, the Best rating upgrade provides continued peace of mind regarding their carrier. “The public recognition of our financial strength is important to our insured law firms. Combined with our commitment to technology and resources that make our customers’ job easier, the A rating reaffirms that ALPS is the legal malpractice insurance carrier of choice,” said Bell.
